Hospitality Park Housekeeping Position
Position Summary
Responsible for general housekeeping duties throughout the facility under the direction of the Park Managers; assist in providing general direction and oversight for volunteer assistants as needed; reports to Park Manager; Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 4:00 pm
Essential Functions
1. Provide basic housekeeping duties for cottages, bunk rooms and RV’s; e.g., changing sheets, towels, cleaning kitchen areas, cleaning bathrooms, restocking unit/facility cleaning & toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting (to include ceiling fans)
2. Cleaning the commercial kitchen area
3. Collect and dispose of trash in available dumpsters
4. Washing, drying and folding bed linens as well as towels
5. Pick up/washing/drying/returning airplane blankets from main office
6. Cleaning of outdoor furniture
7. Sanitizing washing machines as scheduled
8. General cleaning of all rooms in the conference facility
9. Reporting any damages noted to the Park Manager(s)
10. Report, turn in and log any “lost and found” items
11. Clean furniture as needed
12. Perform detailed deep cleans as instructed by Park Manager(s)
13. Perform other duties as needed or assigned
Education, Skills and Knowledge
Ø High School degree or GED
Ø Proven experience as a cleaner/housekeeper
Ø Ability to work with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance
Ø Good customer service skills
Ø Good working knowledge of English; speaking Spanish or Creole a plus
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Ø Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, see and hear clearly
Ø Ability to routinely lift up to 20 pounds
