Job Description i2L Research USA is a contract research organization with a rich history of entomological science testing. Based in Baltimore Maryland, we partner with industry leaders to develop professional and consumer pesticidal products. Our work is instrumental in helping these clients achieve their research and development goals. Overview We are looking for an experienced Entomologist to work at our Baltimore, Maryland location. The successful candidate will work both independently and under the supervision of a Principal Investigator on projects related to product optimization, claims development and product efficacy. They will work to deliver time sensitive data packages in support of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state regulatory submissions. Responsibilities The successful candidate will help build and maintain relationships with outside collaborators and work well in a fast-paced small business environment. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Partnering with outside collaborators to see projects through single or multiple phases of a research and development cycle. Designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments to answer specific research questions. Development and implementation of bioassays to detect the effects of active ingredients on insect and crop pests in the lab and in the field. Supporting insectary activities and maintaining various insect cultures Data collection, collation, analysis and generation of reports using various software tools Required Education The preferred candidate will hold a degree in Entomology with 2-4 years of practical experience but all experience levels are invited to apply.
