Sadler Health Center is hiring a Medical Records/ Health Information Management Supervisor to lead our HIM team in delivering accurate, compliant, and efficient medical records operations. If you’re an experienced HIM professional with a passion for EHR systems, HIPAA compliance, and clinical documentation improvement, we want you on our team!

This role will be primarily located onsite at our Carlisle, PA clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage release of information (ROI) requests in compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
  • Oversee electronic health record (EHR) workflows, documentation audits, and provider support.
  • Supervise medical records processing, scanning, indexing, and quality assurance.
  • Lead insurance documentation preparation and support audit readiness.
  • Train and onboard HIM staff on privacy regulations, EHR best practices, and data accuracy.
  • Drive workflow optimization and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clinical, billing, and administrative teams to ensure timely access to patient records.
  • Analyze HIM data trends and generate reports to support quality improvement and population health.
  • This is an onsite/in person role based out of our Carlise Clinic
  • Must be able to work hands on with Medical Records while also providing direction for the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Must have associate's degree in health information management or related field.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and RHIA or RHIT certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in health information management, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and medical terminology.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, data governance, and clinical workflows.
