Manufacturing Manager at BOEING summary:

The Manufacturing Manager at Boeing Defense, Space and Security leads and motivates teams across multiple manufacturing disciplines, ensuring process improvements and technical management of suppliers. This role includes developing business plans, managing resources, and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders. The position requires experience in manufacturing environments, leadership skills, and knowledge of military aircraft operations.

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has multiple openings for Air Dominance Manufacturing Managers (Level K) in St. Louis, MO . This is an exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and motivate high performing teams of employees on the production line.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • 1+ years’ experience working with or supporting military aircraft.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Previous knowledge / experience with LEAN
  • Experience with military aircraft maintenance and ramp operations
  • Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees.
  • Ability to work any shift

Summary pay range: USD $96,900 – $131,100
