Job Overview :
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our team at Phillips Tank & Structure. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with a supportive, dynamic team to help manage projects from start to finish, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations, directly contributing to some of the most impactful projects in the industry, helping build structures that serve essential industries like water, energy, and chemicals. Key Responsibilities :
  • Collaborate with senior project managers to plan, coordinate, and execute tank and structural construction projects.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation (RFIs, change orders, reports, etc.).
  • Assist in estimating project costs, preparing proposals, and securing bids.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide timely updates to senior management and clients.
  • Assist in resolving any challenges or roadblocks to project success.

Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0-5 years of project management or construction management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and other industry-specific tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in tank and structural construction is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with budget tracking and cost management is preferred but not required.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification or other safety certifications are preferred but not required.
