We're looking for a highly skilled and visionary graphic designer to join Outcode, a product focused software company. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. This role requires a hybrid of creative problem solving and strategic thinking to create visually compelling design.

Responsibilities:

• Able to execute visual direction from Director of Design
• Strong conceptual thinking to transform strategic insights into impactful design concepts
• Exceptionally high standards of craftsmanship, delivering work that elicits emotions and engages people.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design integration and consistency
• Create visually stunning design systems that solves user needs
• Understand client requirements and translate them into visually appealing design concepts
• Understand research, brand and user experience strategies to gain insights into the target audience and industry trends
• Create and present design concepts, mock-ups and prototypes for client review
• Respond to client feedback and revise designs as necessary
• Stay updated on emerging design trends, technologies and best practices
• Seek out new learning resources and materials to expand knowledge and skills in design
• Maintain and evolve our visual brand identity
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently

Requirements:

• 4-year degree in graphic design or related field
• 3+ years of experience in graphic design or similar role
• Proficiency in design-related software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, etc.)
• Proven expertise in designing within cohesive brand systems, layout design, typography, photo editing, and print, with a strong eye for detail
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of typography, layout, and color
• Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with the leadership team, creative team, and clients. Proactively identifies potential issues before they arise and clearly articulates needs and upcoming milestones.
