Educational Therapist or Reading Specialist Adapted Learning Center is seeking a dedicated Educational Therapist or Reading Specialist to provide individualized academic support for students with learning differences. This role involves working with children and adolescents either one-on-one or in small groups, helping them develop essential learning skills and strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or teaching credential strongly preferred Experience with structured literacy or multisensory intervention programs such as Orton-Gillingham, Slingerland, Wilson, Lindamood-Bell, Making Math Real is highly preferred Experience working one-on-one or in small groups with children aged 5-18 Ability to interpret psycho-educational and neuropsychological reports and develop appropriate intervention plans Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams Responsibilities: Provide individualized support and intervention for students in grades K-12 with learning challenges Develop and implement data-driven intervention plans tailored to each student's needs Conduct progress monitoring to track growth and adjust strategies accordingly Support parents/guardians in navigating educational placements and services Collaborate with students, families, school staff, and professionals for comprehensive support Engage in ongoing professional development Starting as part-time with potential to transition to full-time Benefits include sick time , holiday pay , and professional training opportunities If passionate about helping students with diverse learning needs reach their full potential, apply by sending your CV & Resume to: Caroline@AdaptedLearningCenter.com Additional Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Part-time Job function: Education and Training Industry: Education #J-18808-Ljbffr Adapted Learning Center
