To help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience, we are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer. They will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Ruby or Python, we would like to speak with you. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation Required Skills/Certifications: Total experience of 5+ Years as DevOps Engineer. At least 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in Google Cloud. Strong experience in Microservices/API. Good hands-on experience in GKE. Application deployment on various environments in Google Cloud Platform. Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations. Understanding of Shell scripting, Python, or Java. Understanding of cloud identity, IAM, and access management. Understanding of compute runtime and the differences between native compute, virtual, and containers. Basic understanding of Cloud database services such as BigTable, Datastore, BigQuery, etc. Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills. Certification in Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer is desirable. Experience in Agile/SCRUM environment, familiarity with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence). Good communication skills; should be able to communicate with clients individually. Pro-active team player, comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams. Understanding of cloud networking and security such as software-defined networking/firewalls, virtual networks, and load balancers. Hands-on knowledge writing custom scripts for logging & monitoring. Expertise in patch management and troubleshooting in Windows and Linux. Knowledge of Chef or Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, GIT, and CI/CD pipeline is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Imperio Us
