Position Title: CNC Machinist

Wage: $20.00 - $30.00/hour

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Thursday)

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Set tooling, work holding and program on the machine control to manufacture precision products to quality specifications defined by blueprints in an efficient manner
- Read and apply shop orders, drawings, and instructions to produce parts on CNC equipment
- Utilize measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications and maintain appropriate record keeping and electronic documentation
- Perform basic equipment upkeep while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Operate as a team and participate in department improvement activities

Requirements for CNC Machinist:
- At least two years of experience in set up and programming of CNC equipment 
- Ability to read and interpret product drawings, choose the correct tooling and work holding, and verify conformance with proper inspection equipment
- Experience CNC programming on Mazak machines and advanced comprehension of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred but not required
- Highly motivated

- Strong math and measuring ability

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to receive and comprehend instructions
- Ability to work standing and/or sitting
